A beautiful day

New Yorkers need good weather, that much is clear after today. It began with hordes of day-trippers. As the day progressed, the number of visitors increased significantly. The performances were well attended, but it could be better.
There was a SLeM spectacle; a group photo of everyone involved with the festival, which had been delayed a couple of times, could finally be made. Everyone took off, including the cow, for the Windnomaden field at 1pm to pose together with the public among the paintings.
Then Andras Hamelberg (film maker) and Floris Leeuwenberg (photographer) flew over in a helicopter.
Bruno directed the poses; we had to sit, stand, lie, sit, wave, and run to the middle. The response was terrific. And so is the result. More photos will be placed on this site soon.
And, like every evening, this festival evening ends with the last ferry at half past eleven and the island is then once again quiet.

These photos were made with the use of a large kite by Scott Dunn, New York. Attention: this is not the group photo which had been made earlier in the day.
